A day in the Life of Claire

This spot is dedicated to the preparation and life of Claire Cox. Claire has been diagnosed with Trisomy 18, which is a genetic disease caused by an extra chromosome at the 18th spot. We know that God can cure Claire at any time, and continue to pray for this; however we also know that His Will, will be done!

Claire seems to try to take her bottle much better after learning the pleasures of a lollipop

I think this is the most precious picture of any child that I have ever seen before (including my own child)- it is hard to imagine that God loves them even more than we can. You all will continue to be in my prayers, that God's unexplainable peace will continue to overwhelm your lives.

She looks sweeter than the lollipop! You are so blessed to have such a beautiful angel! May God hold you with his arms and give you peace and strength! You are constantly in my thoughts! Please call me if you need to talk, cry or scream!!
    Love and Prayers,

What a beautiful baby girl! I check your blog for updates frequently, and pray for your family daily. I have two baby girls myself and think there is nothing more precious.

What courage the Lord has given you. I learned about Claire from a prayer list at church and checked the blog. You all are in my prayers daily! Thank you for loving this BEAUTIFUL baby girl..and for knowing and living in the fact that HIS strength is made perfect in our weaknesses!
    Prayers,
    Olivia (AU)

Hi, my name is Ruby Mayeux, and my husband is Paul. Claire is so beautiful. You see, Paul and I can see through the tri-18. We just lost Michael Brendan, Jan.31st to tri-18. He was 2mths 3wks old and our 11th child. Paul and I are the very proud parents of 7 living children. Michael was born Nov. 7th, 2006, and we still mourn him terribly, so please pray for us. When I see your little Claire, I see my Michael and I thank you for that and also thank you as one open Christian to another for keeping your pregnancy and having Claire. May Our Precious Lord Bless you and your family, for He has already blessed Claire.
