A day in the Life of Claire

This spot is dedicated to the preparation and life of Claire Cox. Claire has been diagnosed with Trisomy 18, which is a genetic disease caused by an extra chromosome at the 18th spot. We know that God can cure Claire at any time, and continue to pray for this; however we also know that His Will, will be done!

Just checked our angle boy's (Eliot) website and thought I would check Claire's as well. She is too cute in that pink hat and fur blanket!!!!! She certainly does not lack anything in the style department =)

Another prayer from my prayer calander - COURAGE : "Lord, may my children alsways be strong and courageous in their character and their actions." Deuteronomy 31:6

Still praying for that beautiful girl......

Wow, what a beautiful girl. Billy, thanks for the tickets, I tried to tell everyone around us "THE GAME'S NOT OVER," but even the players had already long since given up. Claire is much too beautiful for that Razorback hat. I am sure that Elliot is a wonderful boy, but the hat has to go. We are thinking about you and praying for you often.

    Love,
    Vince & Kati

Found you through Eliot. Claire is just beautiful -- especially in my favorite shade of pink!!

May God wrap His arms around you all and carry you each step of this journey. You are an inspiration to so many.

She is as beautiful as her mommy! I don't know if you realize just how many lives the three of you have touched through this journey. Amazing!!! God knew what he was doing when he chose the two of you to be Claire's parents. He wanted the very best! Know that so many, many prayers are being said for the entire Cox family every day.

    With daily thoughts and prayers,

    Jane Martin

I am a friend of the Mitchells and they have your blog and Elliots blog on their blog site. I wanted to let you know that I am praying for you and little Claire. I also wanted to say that I am Bama girl living here in TX for a short while. I think that both Claire and Elliot would look even more stylish in Bama wear! May the Lord keep you and your family!!!

Thanks to Rachel for sending me the link to your blog. I look forward to checking in EVERY day to see what has been added. I have heard SO many great things about you both from Rachel. She did not lie when she said you guys were amazing. I hope to meet you all one day soon. My husband (Kyle) and I had a baby (Katie now 2) 8 weeks early that weighed 3.14. She was in the NICU for 23 days and was gavaged as well. When I was having contractions and knew she was on the way, I was about to lose it. My husband told me something I will never forget. He said, "Jennifer, if something is wrong with Katie then the Lord chose us because he knew we could handle it." I told Rachel this before Claire was born and Rachel replied" The Lord DEFINITELY knew what he was doing when he chose Claire for Billy and Tammy." You guys are truly amazing and an inspiration to us all. God Bless! Jennifer Mitternight

    Tammy amd Billy:
Billy, your Dad & I have been very proud of you all of your life...(well, MOST of your life!) But as you and Tammy are depending on your faith daily, you are showing all of us how to rely on, and accept God's Love. We can rest easy knowing our wonderful tiny Grandchild, with her 3lb.,4oz. is leading us to be better people, who are taking more time each and every day to thank God for this gift He's given us. And we thank you and Tammy for sharing her with us. Your Dad and I love you both!

get to read it, I'm sure she said all the things I would like like to
We are ready to leave for Auburn.
thanks to you and late as usual
but was determed to get at least
a note off. We, all yure brothers

you, and remark how great the two
of you are handling this situation
